Riverside Christian Church uses Supercart trolleys to help community member in need
Riverside Community Church are the latest recipients of a Supercart trolley donation to assist in their charitable activities. We’re proud to be able to support the tireless efforts of the unsung heroes like Jim Cameron who are on the ground helping the community.
As a part of our ongoing efforts to support charitable initiatives, we are proud to have been able to support Riverside Christian Church with a trolley donation to assist in the collection and distribution of goods for emergency food donations. We received the following testimonial from Jim Cameron at Riverside Community Care:
We have just recently started giving food parcels to families in need.
We searched high and low to try and purchase a trolley but found it almost impossible. Fortunately the impossible was done by Theodoor and the Team at Supercart.
Without any hesitation, Theodore very generously donated a trolley so that our community can easily donate goods for those who are struggling with the challenge of day to day rising costs..
Within a few weeks the trolley was filled many times and we have now been able to give away 17 emergency food parcels.
The trolley holds a pride of place at our front entrance promoting our Community Care arm..
Thank you Theodoor and Supercart for making it easier to collect goods for our community.

Donation to Bill & Merelyn
Supercart is pleased to donate one Mini hybrid trolley to retiree couple Bill & Merelyn in recognition of their honesty in seeking to purchase a trolley rather than pinching one from their local store.
We were contacted recently by retiree Bill about buying a trolley for himself and his wife Merelyn. Bill and Merelyn wanted to purchase the trolley to make it easier to cart home their shopping since the local shopping centre is only a few streets away.
It’s quite unusual for individuals to purchase shopping trolleys, so we were pleasantly surprised to learn that Bill and Merelyn wanted to purchase the trolley, rather than the alternative of simply wheeling one home from the local shops. Not only is that theft, but quite often, people who take trolleys from their local Supermarket leave them strewn about the neighbourhood. The end result is an unsightly mess and a potential hazard as unsecured trolleys could roll onto the road creating a traffic risk or into other stationary objects causing property damage.
So to Bill and Merelyn we say good on ya, this trolley is on us!
Donation to Vinnies Moss Vale

Sustainability isn't just about conserving the environment. In fact, there are four pillars of sustainability that also include the social, human, and economic pillars.
Our business is naturally suited to addressing the environmental and economic aspects of sustainability, so we jump at the opportunity to contribute in other areas whenever we can.
Vinnies Moss Vale in the Southern Highlands are the latest recipients of a trolley donation that will assist their team in transporting cleaning equipment. Vinnies perform an important role through support services to the community and we're proud that we can contribute to their important work.

In a continuation of our efforts to support local communities, we are pleased to have donated two of our Australian made hybrid shopping trolleys to the Mt Gravatt Community Centre in QLD!
Katrina of MGCC reached out to us after searching for a trolley to assist their volunteers and staff working in the Food Pantry where ‘Emergency Relief’ food and other essential items are provided for local community members and international students in need of assistance and support.
Needless to say, this is a great cause and one that we are proud to be able to support. You can read Katrina’s story below:
Upon checking out the Supercart website, I was surprised and excited to read that your trolleys are manufactured in Australia from recycled empty milk bottles and other plastics. As I have a keen interest in environmental sustainability and recycling, I rang Theodoor to ask for the prices of these lovely trolleys. He asked me for what purpose they would be used.
I mentioned that they would be mainly used to assist volunteers and staff working in the Mt Gravatt Community Centre Food Pantry where 'Emergency Relief' food and other essential items are provided for local community members and international students in need of assistance and support.
Theodoor kindly offered our Community Centre a donation of two trolleys (one small and one large), provided we would cover the transport cost. Aden Martin of Logifix Freight Solutions was contacted by Theodoor on our behalf, to enquire about the cost of freight for our trolleys from Melbourne to Brisbane. Aden kindly offered to discount the freight for us.
Both trolleys have been put to good use daily and are lightweight and quiet. They are extremely easy to manoeuvre around corners which makes our workload so much easier.
Thank you Theodoor for the generous donation offered to the Mt Gravatt Community Centre on behalf of Supercart. We would also like to thank Aden of Logifix Freight Solutions for the discounted freight cost. It is very much appreciated."
